Local Wisconsin businessman Dennis Frandsen has offered to cover two year’s college tuition of every high school senior in his hometown of Luck. Dennis never attended college himself, but now as the founder and owner of Frandsen Bank & Trust, he wants to give kids the opportunity that he never had. When asked about his generous decision, he simply responded “I thought it was the right thing to do.”

This isn’t the first time Frandsen has made such a generous offer either. Earlier this year, he gave free tuition to graduating seniors in the town of Rush City, Minnesota where less than 10% have a bachelor’s degree.

Of course, the whole thing reminded many people of an iconic episode of “The Office” in which Michael Scott promises a class of 3rd graders he’ll pay for their college in hopes that he’ll be a millionaire by the time they graduate. Which obviously does not happen, and results in one of the most cringe-worthy episodes ever created.

In all seriousness though, Dennis Frandsen’s offer has been met with so much appreciation from everyone in the town of Luck, and is sure to change the lives of hundreds of kids who otherwise might’ve never had the opportunity to attend college.
