While Penn Badgley will be back as the murderous bookstore manager, there are a few new stars joining the show, including a brand new leading lady (RIP, Beck). Badgley will be back as the crazed killer in season two.
After Beck's death in season one, The Haunting of Hill House actress has been tapped as the new female lead of the show. Love is described as "an aspiring chef who doesn't care about social media" who connects with Joe over "a shared knowledge of profound loss."
The Heathers actor will play Love's "confident, opinionated, and privileged" brother.
The Disney Channel star will play a young teen who "grew up fast in the big city." Since Ellie has "minimal adult supervision or nurturing in her life" she is known to "get into murky waters to make a little cash" including "working cons on adults around her, including Joe Goldberg."
While the Fuller House actor hasn't been confirmed for season two, showrunner Sera Gamble did reveal that they are toying with the idea of having his character, who is currently serving time in prison for Beck's murder, pop up during season two.
Childers will be reprising her role as Candace in season two.
The Gotham actor will have a recurring role as a character named Will, "a thoughtful, personable, and highly intelligent guy" who happens to find himself "trapped in a bad situation."
The Russian Doll star is on board as a character named Gabe, whose best friend is Love Quinn (the show's new lead, played by Pedretti).
