Hannah Brown is officially the new Bachelorette, and the announcement was a little more exciting than she expected! Her role as The Bachelor spinoff's leading lady was announced during Colton Underwood's "After the Final Rose" special, where we saw the former NFL player show Bachelor Nation that he is happily committed to Cassie Randolph. Host Chris Harrison revealed that Hannah will be taking over the position previously held by Becca Kufrin (who's still engaged to her final suitor, Garrett Yrigoyen) and will star in the show's next season, due later this year.
But it wasn't enough to just make an announcement — Chris told Hannah that she would actually be meeting her first five contestants that very night! The stage was quickly transformed into a rose ceremony setting fit for the Bachelor mansion, and Hannah was quickly introduced to five of her 30 male suitors. In a surprise twist, Hannah even handed out her first rose, which Chris was quick to point out has never happened before. We can't say if Hannah has already fallen in love, but we can say that she's definitely in for a wild ride. Check out the five suitors ahead!
