Girl’s reaction to shark attack is the stuff of legend (4 Photos) 1 In a scene almost straight out of Jaws, two kids were bitten by sharks off the coast of Long Island, New York. A 12-year old girl suffered a bite wound to her leg and minutes after that attack a 13-year-old boy who had fallen off of a boogie board was attacked very close to where the girl was bitten was bitten. The shark that bit the 13-year-old boy left behind one of its own teeth in the wound. 2EXCLUSIVE: video of one of two large sharks pulled from Atlantique Beach on Fire Island this morning pic.twitter.com/vlVzRxIIVL— Kristin Thorne (@KristinThorne) July 19, 2018 In reaction to the attack, fishermen yanked two different sharks from the water. Here is the video of men pulling one of the sharks to shore as onlookers observed. Officials soon after decided to release the sharks back into the water, and what followed next was a legendary response from the girl that was bitten. 3 “I’m glad they took them back [into the water]. [But] I wish they would put them further out.” Shark attack survivor Lola Pollina (pictured above with bandaged wound) said this after learning about the catch-and-release. A pretty amazing response from a young girl who was probably just traumatized by a shark attack. Officials also announced they released the second shark as well. Props to this girl for her response! h/t NY Post 4 If this story brought back memories of Jaws for you then you need to grab our CRUSHING IT TEE.
