Diabolical chain-of-ANTS bridge built to attack wasp nest (Video and 3 Photos) 1 What are you looking at? Millions of ants linked together to form a bridge. An electrical engineer named Francisco Boni captured footage of the ants attacking a wasp nest. Yesterday, he Tweeted the video and it’s going viral on the internet. (Click on Video in tweet below-“photo 4”) 2 The video begins with a wide-shot and then zooms in on the curve at the bottom of the bridge; showing the mind-blowing number of ants diabolically working their way to the wasp nest. 3 Francisco Boni explains the bridge: “For ants, it is more effective to follow the trail over a bridge that goes down and then up than in an inverted upside down walk. Also likely that upside down the ants can’t carry significant loads.” When you see the video in Francisco Boni’s Tweet below, you’ll understand why it’s being viewed over-and-over.
