Games of Thrones might be ending after this upcoming season, but Saturday Night Live has some suggestions that could help the show live on even longer. On April 6, SNL pitched a few prequels, sequels, and spinoffs that are inspired by the fantasy drama. There's already an actual prequel in the works at HBO, but that didn't stop the folks at Studio 8H from proposing their ideas. And while these are just parodies, they actually sound pretty interesting.
Some of the best ones include a cartoon program about Arya (inspired by the '90s series Daria), a show in which the characters roast each other in a rap battle á la MTV's Wild 'N Out, and — my personal favorite — a crime series called Game of Thrones: Special Victims Unit where Mariska Hargitay and Ice T (who casually made an appearance in the sketch) solve heinous cases in Rhaenys's Hill. If those sound like shows you'd be interested in, you'll love all the other ones they teased in the skit!
