Well, that’s something you don’t see everyday. A bald guy not wearing a toque in the winter.
Anyway, that’s Sasha and Masha posing with their Puma Messi. They adopted the cat several years ago despite being told that it would be very prone to sickness and that it needed a ton of attention in order to survive.

Before bringing Messi home, the couple made a few changes. Firstly, they created a little “jungle gym” for the cat and installed a large mirror. The mirror was recommended by experts so that Messi didn’t ever feel “lonely.” The doorways were turned into giant “scratchers” so that Messi could do that thing cats do to them.
Yeah, THIS thing.
As a kitten, Messi had a plethora of problems from the get-go. Chronic cystitis, rickets, and muscle atrophy to name a few.
However, after several months of walks, training, vitamins, and proper care, Messi started to grow up into a healthy Puma.

Messi is a smart cat, but, she’s grown into a house cat. She does all of the things you’d expect a cat to do: Stare out of windows, sleep, play with boxes, and try to hide in small spaces.

Messi will never be able to survive in the wild, but, that wasn’t an option from the beginning, sadly. Now, he will live a happy life with people that love him, and that’s pretty awesome.
