And then there were none.
Colton Underwood sent finalists Tayshia Adams and Hannah Godwin packing during part one of “The Bachelor’s” season finale on Monday night, after he endured heartbreak from Cassie Randolph in Portugal last week.
Following Cassie’s shocking exit, Colton jumped a fence to get away from the cameras, much to the surprise of host Chris Harrison.
“I just needed to be alone,” Colton says of his decision to hop away.
But despite recent events, Colton knows his heart is still with Cassie.
“I think she loves me, and I think she’s scared. I came here for love, and I found it, I feel like life without Cassie wouldn’t be complete and I feel that Cassie completes me,” he explains.
Ready to fight for the woman he loves, Colton realizes he first needs to be transparent with the other two ladies in his life, starting with Tayshia.
“I wanted to come by here right now,” Colton tells Tayshia after arriving to her suite. “You’re incredible and I owe you the respect and honesty for where I’m at right now. I feel like I knew that I was falling for you, but in my heart, I know I can’t love two people, and my heart’s with somebody else.”
After digesting Colton’s words, Tayshia suggests the two move inside, where they will be away from the cameras. Following an intimate conversation, Tayshia and Colton part ways before he visits Hannah G.
“I wanted to talk to you about something. You’ve been my rock through all of this, you’re somebody who has always picked me up and in the hardest times you helped me get through all of that,” Colton expresses to Hannah G.
“And I realize that I can’t be in love with two people and where my feelings are in another relationship is at a stronger point than where I’m at with you. I realize that I love Cassie,” he continues.
A blindsided Hannah G. replies, “I didn’t expect for you to say that,” to which Colton responds, “I didn’t expect it was going to be like this. I thought it was going to be you.”
After leaving Hannah G.’s room, an emotional Colton ponders his future, but later gets an opportunity to come face-to-face with his exes in real-time for the first time since their breakups.
“The one question I have for you, if anything, is I thought that we had a lot of amazing moments together and I thought we had something really special… I guess I don’t really understand what was missing and that’s kind of what I want to know from you tonight,” Tayshia asks Colton about his decision to end their relationship.
While Colton then explains to Tayshia that the “trust and foundation we laid in our relationship was very special,” looking back, he has no regrets about his choices.
“You know I stand by the decisions that I made and that was something, coming into it, I didn’t want to hold back very often, and I stand by all of the decisions that I made up until this point,” he says.
Though Colton and Tayshia appear to end things on good terms, Hannah G. wants answers from the man she once loved.
“This is crazy, I mean I don’t know any other words to put into this besides I love you and I thought you felt the exact same way,” Hannah G. tells Colton. “You told me that you were falling in love with me, you asked for my dad’s blessing and I thought it was us, and you didn’t give me any other reasons to think otherwise.”
Colton then states he knew coming to Portugal would be the most difficult test of his relationships yet.
“I tried my hardest to stay as open as I could,” he says. “I know heading into that week it was going to be the most challenging.”
Knowing he couldn’t be “all-in” with Hannah G., he had to let her go.
As for his future, it remains to be seen if Colton’s Hail Mary pass to Cassie in Tuesday’s installment of “The Bachelor” will be successful.
