The Jonas Brothers dropped the music video for their new song "Cool" on Friday, and I've already worn out the repeat button. While Kevin, Joe, and Nick's flashy '80s outfits certainly captured my attention, it's the multiple Easter eggs within the video that truly made me freak out. Not only do the brothers call out celebrities like Jane Fonda and James Dean in the lyrics, but the brothers seemingly pay tribute to some of their popular songs as well.

Nick makes a subtle nod to the Jonas Brothers' "Burnin' Up" song when he references a red dress just like the famous lyric, "High heels / Red dress / All by yourself / Gotta catch my breath." The brothers went from "burnin' up" to being so "cool."
A few moments later, Nick not-so-subtly plugs his own cologne collaboration with John Varvatos when he sings "Maybe I should bottle my moves / Sell 'em for a dollar or two." Looks like he sold them for a bit more than a dollar or two.
After Post Malone referenced the brothers in his "Better Now" song, the group paid back the favor with their lyric, "I feel like Post Malone when I get home."
Joe gives a shout-out to his fiancée Sophie Turner when he mentions her show Game of Thrones. Since Joe actually knows how the series ends, we can't help but wonder if this is actually a spoiler.
OK, so this might be a stretch on my part, but I couldn't help but think that the underwater bit was a subtle nod to "Year 3000." In the song the brothers sing about how not much has changed in the future, but people do live underwater. Perhaps this is the brothers' way at poking fun at how much they have changed since the band first formed.
Joe was finally able to grow that mustache! In the Jonas Brothers' "Burnin' Up" music video, Joe sports a fake mustache and an '80s inspired suit as he catches bad guys under the persona, Rick Lava.
While the inclusion of Bayou Rum could simply be product placement within the video, it's also worth noting that the Jonas Brothers' paternal step-grandfather is named Bayou Butch. Perhaps a double reference here?
In the first Camp Rock movie, it's an ongoing joke that Kevin's character, Jason Gray, is obsessed with birds as he constantly pesters Shane Gray (Joe Jonas) to make him a bird house. Well, Jason Kevin finally gets his birds as he's surrounded by parrots in the music video.
People couldn't help but notice that the guitar strap Kevin sports is the same one Nick wore when he was with Nick Jonas and the Administration. How cute!
