Talk about a touchdown.

On Monday, former NFL player Devin Goda debuted on “The Price is Right” as the show’s newest male model.

“Growing up I loved the show; I never thought I would be on the show,” the 29-year-old model told People.

Goda was a wide receiver for the Baltimore Ravens and retired in 2013 after a hamstring injury. He decided to pursue modeling full-time and has since been featured in campaigns for Calvin Klein, Levi’s and 2Xist.

Goda says his NFL background prepared him for the show.

“[With] ‘The Price is Right’ you have to know everything. You have to know camera angles, you have to know lines,” Goda says. “It’s just kinda like the playbook in football. You have to know what you’re doing, where you’re doing, you have to know where you’re looking at.”

And he says that fitting in just fine on set and was even the subject of jokes by the “The Price is Right” host Drew Carey.

“He made a couple cracks whenever I was in my swimsuit,” Goda said. “He made a couple cracks about my body … He’s awesome; he’s welcomed me with open arms.”
