I feel many emotions right now.
To know Kirk Gleason of Gilmore Girls is to love him. He’s Stars Hollow’s most memorable residents — quirky, genuine, hardworking, and a beloved fear biter.

Sean Gunn, the actor who plays him, has always been just as charming.
Here he is all the way back in 2004 when Gilmore Girls celebrated its 100th episode.

Gunn’s worked steadily since his iconic role as Kirk, man of roughly 15,000 jobs within the city limits of Stars Hollow, but you probably now know best from his role as Kraglin in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise.
Fun fact: He also plays Rocket (voiced by Bradley Cooper) on set, capturing the character's physicality.

Well, here’s Sean with his brother, James Gunn (who wrote and directed the first two Guardian movies, and will also return for the third), at the first movie’s premiere in 2014. Sean’s definitely matured since his days with Rory and Lorelai, and he’s looking goooood.

But then, a mere two years later at the 2016 Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life premiere, Sean showed up looking…very silver fox-esque. He’s not quite full silver fox, but he’s sporting some very flattering flecks of grey.

Then, not even a full year later, he showed up to the Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 premiere IN FULL SILVER FOX MODE:
The stubble, the hair, it's working.

You cannot hide, Sean, we all see you aging like a fine, silver-hued wine.

We see you embracing your destiny.

Finally, just last week at the Avengers: Infinity War premiere, he attended alongside Natasha Halevi and had the nerve to show up looking like this:

My sweet Kirk, how times have changed!!!

In conclusion: Kirk Gleason has become a full-on silver fox and absolutely no one gave him permission, but I’m not mad about it.
