Doppelgänger double-take: No, that’s not Megyn Kelly making her first public appearance after a very public fall from grace — it’s Charlize Theron.
On Thursday, paps snapped Theron in costume as Kelly on the set of the upcoming film, “Fair and Balanced.”
In Theron’s new movie, which does not have an official release date yet, the Oscar winner co-stars with John Lithgow, who’s playing Kelly’s former Fox News boss Roger Ailes, and Nicole Kidman playing Fox News commentator Gretchen Carlson. Margot Robbie, Allison Janney and Kate McKinnon lead the supporting cast.
The film’s script showcases the ousted NBC host as “ambitious, hard-working and not highly intelligent,” according to TMZ.

Kelly was last spotted Wednesday looking grim as she entered her Upper West Side apartment after generating a firestorm of criticism for her defense of “blackface” Halloween costumes on her troubled daytime talk show.
She later apologized to her staff — and to the nation — for her remarks – but it wasn’t enough to save her job. It took just 48 hours for Kelly to be cut from the network.
